Co-Option Procedure

The preferred option to fill a Councillor vacancy is via election. However, if a By-Election is not called, Co-option is the process by which the
Parish Council selects a new Councillor to fill a casual vacancy by way of an agenda item at a Full Council meeting. This Co-option procedure details the process to be followed.

Grants Policy

This policy outlines how and why St. Agnes Parish Council award grants, who is eligible to apply and what can be funded.

Publication Scheme

Information Commissioner’s Office model publication scheme. It may be adopted without modification by any public authority without further approval and will be valid until further notice. The publication scheme commits an authority to make information available to the public as part of its normal business activities.

Social Media Policy

This policy ensures responsible, respectful, and lawful social media use by Councillors, staff, and all council participants in both official and personal capacities.

Guidelines for broadcasting or using social media at Council meetings

The right to record, film and to broadcast meetings of the Council is legally established. This guidance is in addition to the rights of the press and public to attend such meetings.

Community Project Form

Please complete if you have an idea/project you would like the Council’s Community Program Committee to consider. Include as much detail as possible (examples; possible contractors and known costs).
