Council Staff

The Council Staff comprises three office-based employees (a fourth starts in July 2021), two handy-people, three library staff and two Facilities Operatives.  The latter work hard to maintain the cleanliness of the public toilets across the Parish, and the Council offices and library, to a high standard.  The Parish Clerk, Deputy Clerk and Administration Officer between them cover the entire spectrum of the councils work – ranging from planning, policies, environmental management, legal compliance and more – and are based in the office in St Agnes, which is normally open five mornings a week from 9am-12pm. Outside these times appointments may be made to visit the office as well.  Library staff operate the library service, which includes outreach work as well as staffing the public library.  The Council’s handy-people help maintain our street furniture, some of the verges and green spaces, fixtures and fittings in our public buildings, and are general fixers of problems!
