St Agnes Parish Council is looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Worker to deliver first class standards of grounds and asset management within the parish. If you are looking for a rewarding job, working in a small cheerful team – we want to hear from you!
Part-time: 34 hours per week
Contract type: Permanent
Pay: NALC Salary Scale Points LC2 (18-23) (£31,537 – £34,434 FTE) depending on skills and experience
Starting: ASAP
The Parish Council maintains various assets, including public green spaces, three public toilets, two car parks, a library, an office building, two allotment sites, a play park, two cemeteries, 15 bus shelters, street lighting, benches, and other street furniture. Responsibilities also include vegetation control along some Public Rights of Way. The successful candidate will join the Maintenance Team, handling grounds work, public space upkeep, building maintenance, asset inspections, compliance checks, and emergency response as part of the Council’s Out of Hours ‘On Call’ rota (additional pay) to ensure all assets remain in good condition.
