St Agnes Parish Council requires a Communications Officer & Library Assistant to develop first-class communications and support our thriving library. Part-time: 20 hours per week, worked on a fortnightly rotation; includes alternate Saturday mornings
Contract type: Permanent
Pay: NALC Salary Scale Points LC1 (13-17) (£29,064 – £31,022 FTE) depending on skills and experience
Starting: ASAP
What you’ll do:
- Plan, write and schedule website and social media content; produce a monthly newsletter.
- Create graphics and short videos; design posters/flyers; draft press releases and news items.
- Support community engagement (consultations, surveys, events) and respond professionally to public enquiries.
- Provide front-of-house library support and help deliver activities.
