“The Parish Council is deeply concerned about the recent pollution incident at Trevaunance Cove. Along with the local authority we are pressing South West Water for an immediate explanation, and will do everything we can to help prevent further such instances. Our coastline is profoundly important to the health and wellbeing of local people, to wildlife, and to the wider Cornish economy. This type of incident is completely unacceptable. The Parish Council is requesting that a representative of South West Water attends a forthcoming Parish Council meeting.”

Cllr Mark Nason – Chair of St Agnes Parish Council’s Environment & Property Committee.
